Digital Products Module
The Digital Products Module allows you to use your Heavy Metal product to sell any downloadable item. This module is tightly integrated into Heavy Metal and requires very little user interaction. Typical uses are: •Software!

•Artwork! This product is highly secure and only allows the downloadable file to be access through Heavy Metal. You must provide your download username and password. The two download modes are Single and Multiple. This module has an intelligent download mechanism. If it was aborted your customer will be able to download it. It uses the customer’s username and password for their account. If you try to buy downloadable products as a non-registered customer, you will get an error message which will tell you to register. Additional Features Include:
1) The back end manager can reset the download counter – so if your customer calls and says they deleted it, or their computer crashed, the admin can reset the counter to allow them to download it again. 2) There is a front end page in the account history where the customer can view their download files and status (ready for download, or downloaded on mm/dd/yy).
