Traditional Product/Service Selling
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Traditional Product/Service Selling feature of our shopping cart software allows you to sell any unique product or service you have to your various customers. Each item has at least 30 user-defined data fields which ensure maximum flexibility in providing information to your specific items.
Additionally, with our unique Asset Management System, you can associate any media type with each unique item in your shopping cart solution. This means you can assign specific PDF, images, etc. to further enhance your customer's online experience.
There are numerous other features including inventory tracking, audio loops, and the ability to expand and customize your shopping cart solution to meet your specific business model.
Each product or service can be displayed in a custom thumbnail page view as well as a detailed information page view.

Attributed Product/Service Selling
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Attributed Product/Service Selling feature of our shopping cart software allows you to sell products and services that have various options WITHOUT any inventory controls for that product or service. This means that if you have a product that comes in different sizes, colors, etc., then you can allow your customer to select which attribute they want with that product.
Additionally, you can assign prices to each attribute that will increase the price of the product.
Note*
This shopping cart software feature does not take into account the inventory controls (count) of each attributed product. This means that if you were selling a shirt that came in 5 colors, then your customer can buy the shirts and select the color they want, but you will not be able to know how many shirts of each color you have left in stock.
This is not a problem if you have an unlimited supply of your product, but if inventory controls are important, you should use the Parent-Child Product/Service Selling feature.

Parent-Child Product/Service Selling
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Parent-Child Product/Service Selling feature of our shopping cart software allows you to sell products and services that have various options WITH inventory controls. This means that if you have a product that comes in different sizes, colors, etc. then you can allow your customer to select which variation of a specific product they want and know the stock count of each variation of the product or service being sold.
The way the Parent Child feature works in our shopping cart software is that you have a virtual Parent product that represents the group of similar items being sold (example: shirts). Each variation you have (example: wool, cotton, silk) are actual products or Children that can be purchased by your customers. This allows for inventory controls and a host of other options for your business model.

Multi-level Pricing Product/Service Selling
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Multi-level Pricing Product/Service Selling feature of our shopping cart software allows you to apply discounts to bulk buying of your products or services. This means that for each individual unique product or service in your shopping cart solution can be assigned a discount based upon any formula you wish.
The way Multi-level Pricing works is that when your customer selects the product you assigned this feature (example: shirts), your customer will automatically receive special pricing based upon the quantity being bought.

Optional Inventory Controlled Product/Service Selling

The Optional Inventory Controlled Product/Service Selling shopping cart software feature allows you to sell any unique product or service without inventory controls restraints. This means that you can sell an unlimited number of a specific product without any of the built-in inventory control features being activated (i.e., inventory warnings on limited availability, etc.).
This feature is ideal for shopping cart solutions that create their own products like manufacturers, specialty food retailers, etc.

Gift Certificate Applied Product/Service Selling

The Gift Certificate Applied Product/Service Selling shopping cart software feature allows you to sell Gift Certificates to your customers. Your customers can apply the gift certificate to any product or service in your shopping cart solution.

E-Coupon Applied Product/Service Selling

Results List Sorter

The Results List Sorter feature is part of the free Cut n Paste Codebook included with your shopping cart software purchase. Our shopping cart software gives you the ability to search through any of the INVENTORY table fields (both pre-defined and user-defined) and list the results quickly and easily.
There are two common ways you can use the Results List Sorter in your shopping cart solution:

• Dropdown Menu - Place the Cut n Paste code for the dropdown menu in your webpage and the only thing your customer has to do is click and select their sorting preference.
• Pre-Defined Sort Hyper-Links - If your results list is in a table and you have header-titles at the top of the table, you can turn these header-titles into links. These links can sort the results with a single click, both ascending and descending.
  

Keyword Search Engine

The Keyword Search Engine feature is part of the free Cut n Paste Codebook included with your purchase. Your customers can easily search your entire INVENTORY table of your shopping cart solution by entering any string of keywords. Our shopping cart software will display the results immediately.

Category Tree
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Category Tree Cut n Paste code has the ability to let your e-business dynamically display your categories in a tree structure like the major search engines and internet directories. This category tree will link to all of the products assigned to a specific category and display those products as a list of results. Note - On the left you’ll see the category tree with the current node, “Music” expanded.

Dynamic Similar Products Links

The Dynamic Similar Products Links Cut n Paste code gives you the ability to generate dynamic links to other products by adding a few qualifiers to your INVENTORY table. You can quickly and easily provide a greater breadth of information and possible additional product selections to your customers. Note, how the artists and the label are dynamically hyperlinked.

Brand Finder

The Brand Finder Cut n Paste code searches your INVENTORY table and dynamically creates a drop-down menu of all the brands you carry. Your customers can easily search and get the results they want. Note - Bottom right “Select a Brand” dropdown.

Gift Finder

The Gift Finder Cut n Paste code allows your customers to input a price range search. They can quickly find all the products you carry within the price range and make their purchase. Note - Bottom left “Gift Finder” price search.

Last Viewed Product Trail

The Last Viewed Product Trail Cut n Paste code dynamically generates a hyper-link trail list of products viewed by your customer. They can quickly and easily return to any product they viewed by clicking the product link generated. Includes Smart 'Back To Shopping' Button. Note - Browse to several product detail pages, then view your left for a dynamic “last viewed” trail.

New Arrivals
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The New Arrivals Cut n Paste code allows your customer to quickly search the INVENTORY table in your database to see what products were recently added. This is done using a time stamp in Heavy Metal and the default is set to the most recent 100 products.

Advanced Search
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Advanced Search Cut n Paste code gives your customers the ability to perform advanced keyword searches. Your customers have control over the following criteria:

• Search Type - Allows for 'AND' or 'OR' logic on the keywords entered.
• Match Type - Allows for 'Exact' or 'Pattern" matches of the keywords entered.
• Search Words Type - Allows for the selection of the fields that should be used when conducting the search. The choices are:
• Default Search - Uses SKU, brand, model, and description fields from your INVENTORY table.
• Keyword Field Search - uses only the keywords field in your INVENTORY table. SKU Search - uses only the SKU field in your INVENTORY table.
• Extended Search - Can be set to search all possible fields in your INVENTORY table.
• Product Type -Allows you to specify which category to look.
• Sort Order - Allows you to specify sorting by price, brand or model.
• Department Type - Allows you to specify retail, auction, or haggle features.
  

Dynamic Top 10
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Dynamic Top 10 Cut n Paste code allows your customers to look at the most popular products you have in your e-business. The code shows the top X products viewed in each category where X is defined by you.

Last Product(s) Purchased
Feature Type: Standard - Included in all products
The Last Product(s) Purchased feature is a great value for your returning customers. They can easily have access to their information without having to go to their customer profile This Cut n Paste code shows the top X most recent purchases as well as plus other optional information defined by you.
