Royalty and Commission Management 101 expand

Royalty and Commission Programs are based on termed payments made by one party (the "payor") to another (the "payee") for online sales of the termed product.

There are three general approaches considering payout in a Royalty or Commission Program. They are:

1. The Income Approach
2. The Cost Approach
3. The Comparable Market Approach

Our Royalties / Commissions System app uses the Income Approach. The Income Approach, in our situation, is based upon the profit of the term product being sold through your online Divinity storefront. You, the store owner, decide the rate of the payout and pay out that rate to the appropriate party. You have the ability to monitor all payouts with this app.

The Royalties / Commissions System software payment structure can be a flat price or a percentage based on:

• cost;
• retail;
• sold price.

And can be across all:

• items;
• categories;
• or at the individual item level.

Additionally, if you have the wholesaler module, you can set a different pricing level for different wholesale groups. This allows you to have precise control over your royalty program.

Payee Account Accounting expand

The Royalties / Commissions System app will only reward payees once the orderline has shipped and will deduct from the payee ’s balance if the product is returned. You pay royalties and commissions only on the applicable products, not on tax or shipping and handling.

Powerful Reporting expand

Our Royalties / Commissions System has extensive graphs to view the performance and payments of your payees. There is a control panel for both the manager and the recipients. All involved parties are in control at all times. This is a completely self managed app.

Your recipients will have their own administration control panels to log-in and administer their accounts.
