VAR & MLM 101 expand

Our VAR & MLM Management module allows your company to have either:

• a value-added reseller, VAR, which is an entity that adds some feature or service to your existing product line, then resell it (usually marked-up beyond the price you dictate to the VAR) as a branded product or solution.
• a multi-level marketer, MLM, which is an independent salesperson usually representing your company and is rewarded by a commission on sales made by their individual efforts.

The VAR and MLM business practices is common in many industries, where, for example, a service or regional demographics play an important part of your business model.

The VAR value can come from professional services such as integrating, customizing, implementation, etc. It really does not matter as long as the customer perceives the value and is willing to pay for it. The value is then resold as a new package to the customer/ end user.

Multi-level marketers (MLM) is just a way of describing your business distribution model for your products. MLM allows your company to market your product line to customers by direct selling and referrals.

Multi-Level VAR & MLM Programs expand

Our VAR & MLM software module allows you to create multi-level programs. This means that your VAR's & MLM's can have their own VAR's or MLM's to further sell your products or services. There is no limit to the number of levels you and your VAR's & MLM's can attain.

Note: This feature is only available with the Pro version. Single level VAR programs are available for all other versions. This module can also tie into our Wholesaler module which effectively allows your VAR's & MLM's to have both retail and/or wholesale customers.

Multi-Level Commission Structure expand

Our VAR & MLM software module allows you to create unique commission groups to assign your VAR and MLM's. Each commission group can have its own commission structure. This enables you to reward "high performers" or even create "special status" members. This module also can automatically promote a VAR & MLM from one group to another based on individual performance.

Self-management Controls expand

Our VAR & MLM software module allows your VAR's and MLM's to have extensive controls for assigning their prices.

The level of control can be:

• fixed price or;
• percentage based on actual cost;
• retail price, and;
• sold price.

This can be applied across all products, categories, or at the individual product level. Pricing can also be bulk loaded from CSV files.

In a nutshell, the VAR's and MLM's account administrator sets the pricing available to that VAR or MLM. The VAR or MLM then creates his or her product pricing based on their assigned pricing and retail value of the product. It is an extremely powerful system and completely self managed.

Extensive Reports and Graphs expand

VAR's & MLM's can run reports and graphs from very broad details all the way to very precise specifics to monitor their sales, customers, and overall performance.

Custom Items expand

VAR's & MLM's can upload their own custom products which will be shown on their site after the head VAR or MLM approves the product and negotiates the commission schedule.

Custom VAR or MLM Storefront expand

VAR & MLM's can be allowed to upload their own custom HTML and graphics which will appear on their site. This allows the creation of a branded version of their storefront. Careful consideration needs to be taken into account of the creation of your 'parent' storefront before making storefronts for your VAR's and MLM's.

Multi-Level VAR or MLM administration expand

The "head" VAR or MLM can control all VAR's or MLM's in the system. If unlimited depth, VAR's and MLM's can control the VAR's or MLM's directly under them.

Integrated Messaging System expand

VAR's and MLM's can easily send messages to the respective VAR's and MLM's underneath them. The head VAR or MLM can message all VAR's or MLM's in the system.
